About these templates

These are general-purpose formats covering the wording most businesses need — they aren't a substitute for legal advice on anything with real consequences, like a termination or a legal notice ahead of court proceedings. For routine correspondence (payment reminders, NOCs, offer letters, experience certificates, warnings), they should get you a professional-looking letter in a couple of minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Is a payment demand letter the same as a legal notice?

No. A demand letter is an informal, direct request for payment — a legal notice is a formal document typically sent through an advocate, citing specific legal provisions, and often a precursor to court action. Escalate to a legal notice only if a demand letter doesn't get a response.

Does an NOC need to be on letterhead or notarized?

Most everyday NOCs (bank accounts, vehicle transfers, employment references) just need to be on the issuing party's letterhead with a signature — notarization is only required when the receiving authority specifically asks for it, which is uncommon for routine requests.

Can I edit the letter after downloading the PDF?

The PDF itself isn't editable — change the details in the form above and download again. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere, so re-generating with corrections is the only way to fix a mistake after downloading.
